Differences between hair transplantation methods! Why we use FUE?

Since the beginning of the 2000's, FUE hair transplant technique has taken FUT technique's place as the most frequently used hair transplantation method.

Why?

Because during the FUE hair transplant surgery no hairy skin is extracted. Therefore in FUE method no edema and swelling occurs unlike FUT method. As there isn't any medical cut, incision line which is seen especially in close haircut does not appear. A lot of "hair loss treatment" patients who had operations by FUT method, go to have hair transplantation again on the area where the skin was extracted.

A hair transplant specialist who knows and performs FUE method very well can harvest between 2000-4000 grafts in one step. But in FUT method it is not possible to transplant so much hair. With FUE method it is possible to harvest same amount of grafts in the second session as well.
